Another vampire grave found in Bulgaria

Nikolai Ovcharov known as the "Bulgarian Indiana Jones" found a XIII century skeleton with an iron stake driven through its chest. The discovery was made at the ruins of Perperikon, an ancient Thracian site located in Southern Bulgaria.

The Professor explains that in some places there was a ritual of hammering a stake into dead people's hearts to make sure they did not join the undead. He also says: "We have no doubts that once again we're seeing an anti-vampire ritual being carried out"
