Day 1
– Thracian Heritage of Sveshtari

Departure to Northeastern Bulgaria. Visit to the Thracian Tomb of Sveshtari, a unique 3rd-century BC burial monument famous for its sculpted caryatids and symbolic wall reliefs, representing the spiritual beliefs of the ancient Thracians.
Time to explore the surrounding archaeological landscape before continuing toward the Danube region. 

Day 2 – Ivanovo Rock Churches & Medieval Art

Morning visit to the Ivanovo Rock Churches, carved high into the cliffs of the Rusenski Lom River valley. Explore the rock-hewn chapels and admire the exceptional 13th–14th century frescoes, considered among the finest achievements of medieval Bulgarian painting.
Afternoon return or continuation of the journey according to your overall itinerary.
